Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Sunday congratulated the Bangladesh national cricket team for their thrilling victory over the Pakistan national cricket team in the third and final One Day International (ODI) at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.

Bangladesh secured an 11-run win in the decisive match to clinch the three-match ODI series 2-1 against the visiting side, delivering a memorable performance in front of home fans.

In a message issued after the match, the Prime Minister praised the determination and fighting spirit shown by the young players, saying their united effort and resilience led to a well-deserved victory.

He said the team’s impressive performance has brought pride to the nation and highlighted the growing confidence of Bangladesh in international cricket.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), the Prime Minister also expressed hope that the national side would continue their winning form and achieve further success in upcoming international fixtures and tournaments.
