Family sources confirmed that she died on April 12 in Mumbai, a day after being admitted to Breach Candy Hospital with serious cardiac and respiratory complications. She had reportedly been unwell for several months before her condition deteriorated rapidly.
Doctors shifted her to the intensive care unit on the night of April 11 as her health worsened. Despite close monitoring and the presence of family members, she could not recover. Her son, Anand Bhosle, confirmed her passing. The family announced that her last rites will be held on April 13.
